Pasalovoz

The future of the magazine

Selling the Pasa la Voz kids magazine
Currently, Pasa la Voz is currently negotiating with officials from the government of Cusco to allow the Pasa la Voz kids to sell the Pasa la Voz kids street magazine on the street. When we succeed, 75% of the revenue will go directly to these kids. This way Pasa la Voz can offer alternative and dignified work within the boundaries of the law and with a higher economic and educational value for these particular kids.

When successful, certain kids will follow a workshop that focuses on the more practical side of publishing and selling the magazine; such as bookkeeping, marketing and English.

The Pasa la Voz kids street magazine is currently sold in the Pasa la Voz kids museum, several hotels and of course as a subscription, often in countries outside Peru. Pasa la Voz hopes to increase sales in Cusco and Peru by expanding its venues to amongst others schools and tourist venues as well as aiming for Peruvian subscribers.

The Pasa la Voz World Kids Magazine
In the future, Pasa la Voz hopes to invite many more kids from all over the world to become part of the Pasa la Voz kids-network for kids and by kids. Together the kids can voice to the world their dreams, concerns and their wishes for changes. To facilitate this dream a digital version of the magazine will be available on the internet from spring 2008 with productions made by kids, educative and interactive games, forums and many other things thought off by kids.

Integration into existing media
Pasa la Voz aims to integrate its activities with existing media. To reach an even larger audience, possibilities of cooperation existing media nationally and internationally will be researched.

For example newspapers and television stations may be able to offer the Pasa la Voz kids a stage to voice their thoughts, opinions, dreams and wishes.

Recognized kid’s press agency
With Pasa la Voz´s own trained kids-reporters, photographers and designers, Pasa la Voz aims to get recognized as a legitimate professional kid’s press agency. Pasa la Voz believes it is the way for kids and the organizations of the Pasa la Voz network to voice their opinions, hopes and dreams locally, nationally and internationally.
